Calculation of the Life Path in Numerology

Calculation     The life path is derived by finding the sum
OF THE MONTH, DAY AND YEAR OF BIRTH AND REDUCING THAT SUM TO A SINGLE DIGIT OR MASTER NUMBER.

1. Determine the number representing the month, day and year. Determine each separately.

MONTH:
January, the first month, has a value of..................  1
February, the second month, has a value of...............  2
March, the third month, has a value of...................  3
April, the fourth month, has a value of...................  4
May, the fifth month, has a value of..............,......  5
June, the sixth month, has a value of.....................  6
July, the seventh month, has a value of...................  7
, August, the eighth month, has a value of.................  8
September, the ninth month, has a value of...............  9
October, the tenth month, has a value of 10 =  1 + 0 =  ...   1
November, the eleventh month, has a value of  ............11
(master number, not reduced) December, the twelfth month, has a value of 12 =1  + 2=3
Add the numbers and reduce to a single digit or a master number. For example;
If the birthday is the 1st, the value is....................   1
2nd..............................   2
9th..............................  9
10th = 10 = 1 + 0=   .............   1
11th..............................11
(master number, not reduced)
12th = 12 - 1 + 2 =   .............  3
20th = 20 = 2 + 0 =   .............  2
21st   =21 = 2+1=   ............. 3

22nd..............................22
(master number, not reduced) 23rd -23-2 + 3=  .............  5
Add the numbers and reduce to a single digit or a master number. For example:
1918 =1 + 9+1 + 8 = 19
= 1 +9=10
=1 + 0=1 1940 =1 + 9 + 4 + 0=14
=1 + 4=5 1975 =1 + 9 + 7 + 5=22
(master number, not reduced)

2.  Add together the numbers representing the month, day and year. Reduce to a single digit or a master number.

Example: May 28, 1935
Month: May is the fifth month. Therefore, May = 5.
Day:      28-2 + 8-10
=1 + 0=1
Year:      1935 =1 + 9 + 3 + 5=18
=1+8 = 9

Write the numbers directly below the date:
May    28,    1935 5   +  1  +    9    - 15
=1+5=6
The Life Path is 6

Example: November 4, 1975
Month:  November is the eleventh month. Therefore, November = 11
Day:      4
Year:      1975 =1 + 9 + 7 + 5 = 22

Write the numbers directly below the date:

November   4,    1975
11       +4 +   22  = 37
=3 + 7=10 = 1 + 0=1
The Life Path is 1

Always add the numbers after separately determining the number representing the month, day and year. If you add them all at once, you may end up with a master number that doesn't apply or lose a master number that should apply:
Example: March 12, 1940
Month:  March is the third month. Therefore, March  = 3
Day;      12 - 1 + 2 = 3
Year:      1940 = 1 + 9 + 4 + 0= 14
= 1+4=5

Write the numbers below the date:
March    12,    1940
3     + 3 +   5   = 11
The Life Path is 11

Adding the numbers all together would have been incorrect:
March       12,             1940
    3  +       1 + 2    + 1 + 9+4 + 0   =20
= 2 + 0 = 2 Incorrect.
The master number has been lost.

With just a little practice, you can do most of the work in your head, and the first step of your numerology calculation would look like this:
November    4,    1975
11       +       4   +   22   = 37 = 10 = 1 Life Path
